Southwest Turkey Bacon Wrap

Quick Notes: This is basically a sandwich with a sauce recipe, but the flavors are absolutely phenomenal together. 10/10 would recommend.

Ingredients

  • 1 package wraps
  • Sliced turkey breast (better than deli slices if possible)
  • Cooked bacon (about a pound)
  • Sliced pepperjack cheese
  • Sliced banana pepper
  • sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onion
  • Romaine lettuce, chopped
  • Copious Southwest sauce (ingredients below)

Southwest Sauce

This covered two wraps, but I like a lot of sauce. I would double it for more than three.

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon diced cilantro (feel free to measure with your heart)
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle chili
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • pinch thyme
  • pinch cumin

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine all sauce ingredients and stir. Let sit at least 30 mins.
  2. Warm up your wraps to room temp.
  3. Stack your wrap with the turkey, cheese, bacon, then sauce, then veggies. I highly suggest going HAM on banana peppers. Super delicious.
