Quick Notes: I actually did this one on my own. I prefer it with cavatappi, which is probably my favorite pasta due to surface space for sauce. The store supplemented rigatoni for cavatappi, which is pictured here. It’s still good. I bought the meat pre-sliced from Kroger/Smith’s. You could call it a Mac and cheese if you’re fucking basic.
Ingredients
- 2 tbps olive or vegetable oil
- 1 lb pasta
- 1 lb shaved steak
- 2 green peppers, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c sliced mushrooms
- 1 jar of Cheez Whiz
Directions
- In large pot, boil water to cook pasta by package directions. You can do this beforehand, but if you do put a tiny bit of olive oil on the noodles to prevent stickage. It will not prevent the sauce from sticking….Cheez Whiz sticks to fucking anything.
- Meanwhile, add cooking oil to an extra large frying pan, and heat over medium high heat.
- Add your veggies to the oil. Cook until the onions begin to soften, about 3-5 mins. I like to start with onions, do them a minute. Then add the rest with a minute between each.
- Add your shaved steak to the pan, and continue to cook until steak is cooked thoroughly and the veggies are at the firmness of your liking. (do not overcook them, they’ll get soggy and gross.) Remove from heat.
- Drain pasta completely, and stir in the entire jar of Cheez Whiz. Stir until pasta is completely covered.
- Add your veggie/meat combo to the pasta. If you have a lot of fluid left in the bottom of the pan, drain that off before adding it to the pasta.
- Eat the fuck out this bitch.
